We met Thanksgiving 2010. Two halves of another whole separately invited us both to drinks amongst friends. Neither of them knew the other was secretly playing matchmaker. Lighting the matchstick of us at both ends, they got us laughing and talking and we haven’t stopped. We keep a journal wherein we write to each other once a month to remind the other why we love him so. We’ve covered a lot of ground both in our travels and in growing together. Each day brings with it the motivation to express how thankful we are for what and who we have.
